The Texas Longhorn is an iconic breed with many strong qualities. They are resilient in severe weather conditions, resistant to disease, and have a good temperament. Our cattle come from a long, respectable pedigree line. They are registered in the HORNS database with the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America.
All our cattle roam free to forage on native grasses and forbs. We have wooded areas which provide them shelter and is habitat for other animals such as deer. They are socialized and accustomed to human interaction. Each of our cows has a specific personality and it is enjoyable to watch them interact with each other. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to own one of these distinctive breeds.
Madame and Calf ($1000)
Madame is so regal. Look at her posing! She has the classic Texas Longhorn burnt orange color. Her horns are close to 6ft and still growing, with a gentle upwards curve. She’s the queen of the ranch. She’s not timid or shy; she loves to be hand fed treats. She is such a character and we love her! Madame was born June 2016.
There is something special about owning a classic Longhorn. She would make an excellent addition to your pasture. She is an excellent mother, carries a calf to term, and raises a healthy calf with desirable traits.
On 24 June 2021, Madame gave birth to a bull calf. This little guy is healthy, curious, and full of energy. He loves to run and jump around the corral. We’ve handled him and exposed him to a halter. We will sell the two as a pair to allow Madame to continue nursing him.
Madame is registered with TLBAA (Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America). The calf’s Sire is also registered. We’ve recorded the birth of the calf with the TLBAA to allow him to be registered at a later date. We’re happy to assist the new owners to obtain transfer papers for both animals.
Being sold from Sandy Fork Pastures, LLC in Harwood, TX.
RM Pat 378/1 ($900)
This longhorn is named Pat, but we call her Big Momma. She’s originally from the Red McCombs Ranch (born on 02 May 2006) and carries the RM brand. This big girl is a little shy but will come when we whistle and will eat cubes out of your hand. She is thriving and healthy.
Her horn spread is impressive, almost 7 feet with a little twist! She has great mothering instincts and is the matriarch of the herd. She is excellent at protecting the herd from predators. You’ll likely be able to get several more calves with long horns and beautiful coloring from her.
She is registered under TLBAA, and we’re happy to assist the new owners in obtaining transfer papers.

Marguerite is the daughter of RM Pat (born on 07 November 2018). She is already showing great promise with a strong body and lots of brindle color. We expect her to continue to grow and have a large horn spread.
As one of the first calves raised on our property Marguerite is a family favorite. She is friendly, curious to see what you are doing, and enjoys attention. She is use to people and handling. She is very calm and doesn’t get spooked.

Mardi Gras and Calf ($1100)
SOLD
Mardi Gras is a spectacular longhorn with beautiful coloring, striking horns, and wonderful temperament. She was born, you guessed it, on Fat Tuesday (05 March 2019). This particular cow is special to our family and was the baby of the herd.
She is the friendliest of all our cows and always seeks our attention. She loves treats and scratches behind the ears. She is an excellent mother and very calm with handling of her or her calf.
On 26 June 2021, Mardi Gras gave birth to a little bull calf. This little guy is very sweet and a bit of a mama’s boy. He likes to run and jump, but doesn’t stray too far from the other calves. We’ve handled him and exposed him to a halter. We will sell the two as a pair to allow Mardi Gras to continue nursing him.
Mardi Gras is registered under TLBAA. The calf’s Sire is also registered under TBLAA. Both come from an excellent lineage. We’re happy to assist the new owners to obtain transfer papers.
